Overview

Sinclair Research maintains many resources vital to preclinical animal research including animal colonies, animal housing facilities, necropsy facilities, maintenance shop and supplies, and an auxiliary backup electrical power generator. Staff and personnel include study directors, quality assurance and quality control teams, report writers, veterinarians, and veterinary technicians. Equipment includes veterinary surgical instruments, anesthesia machines, fixed and portable digital radiograph machines, DEXA, C-arm imaging, ultrasound, a surgical microscope, and a clinical pathology laboratory. Other resources includes standard operating procedures, veterinary data, protocol templates, a Book of Normals for miniature swine reference values, normal reference values for other species, a technical library, training resources, biomedical manuscripts, and historical GLP study controls.
