Sinclair Research Contributes to Recent Issue of Toxicologic Pathology

Jul 12, 2016

Sinclair Research Center and Sinclair BioResources have recently contributed to a special issue of Toxicologic Pathology (Volume 44, Number 3, 2016) titled Swine in Translational Research and Drug Development. This issue focuses on the most recent developments of the use of swine, particularly miniature swine, in preclinical research; it also delves into the potential of future use of miniature swine in translational research and drug development. SRC and SBR contributed to the collection of background clinical and histopathological observations, vital to the interpretation of test article-related  findings, in the article ”Miniature Swine Breeds in Toxicology and Drug Safety Assessments: What to Expect during Clinical and Pathology Evaluations”; they additionally contributed to the article “Background Pathological Changes in Minipigs: A Comparison of the Incidence and Nature among Different Breeds and Populations of Minipigs.”
